Merry Christmas Mum

Another Christmas without you, and once again we have survived it. It was of course a difficult day without you, but we 'got on with it' just as you would want us too.

The trifle is done for tomorrow's tea at karen's, and I made the usual 5 christmas cakes. Still not as good as yours.

We know you are looking after us from up above, and that gives us comfort.

Merry Christmas MUM.

Missing you loads

missing mum at christmas

its not just because its christmas
that your very much in mind
for days without a thought of you
are very hard to find

but the lights, the decorations
and the happy atmosphere
only make it so much harder
to accept that your not here

for at this time of year, your love
and your kindness really shone
and the seasons warmth and magic
have all faded since youve gone

and if tears, heartache and longing
could make special dreams come true
we'd be celebrating christmas
once again dear mum with you.

no words will ever describe how much your missed mum.
i love you susan x x x

We lost a mother with a heart of gold
How much we miss her can never be told
She shared our troubles and helped us along
If we follow her footsteps we can never go wrong

She was a mother so very rare
Content in her home and always there
On earth she toiled, in heaven she rests
God bless you Mum you were one of the best

A mother's love determines how
We love ourselves and others.
There is no sky we'll ever see
Not lit by that first love.
Stripped of love, the universe
Would drive us mad with pain;
But we are born into a world
That greets our cries with joy.
How much I owe you for the kiss
That told me who I was!
The greatest gift--a love of life--
Lay laughing in your eyes.
Because of you my world still has
The soft grace of your smile;
And every wind of fortune bears
The scent of your caress.

Love and MIss you lots

The Broken Chain

We little knew that morning
that God was going
to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to loose you,
you did not go alone;
for a part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.

You left us peaseful memories,
your love is still our guide,
and though we cannot see you,
you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.

We took this poem to Nabwood with some flowers for you.

love and miss you everyday

news

Another school year is over, Jordan has now left Low Ash, and starts Beckfoot in September. He is really looking forward to it, but I am nervous. They grow up so fast. Both of the boys had really good school reports again, and Adam has excelled in year 4. Jordan's last day was very busy, he had a ride in a limo for an hour, followed by bowling and food. In the evening, we went to a leavers disco, Martin was working so couldn't go. Although a little cramped, we had a good evening.

Both are still doing well with sports. Jordan got yet another trophy on presdentation day. This one is for match point award, it's a fab trophy.

After all the trouble with Adam and his football, he is finally happy. He has moved team to be goalkeeper for the 1st team. He has played in goal for a couple of friendlies and also some tournaments. His first tournament the team reached the semi final, in the 2nd tournament they WON. Adam is really proud of his trophy, and so he should be, he played really well.
Jordan also played in a tournament at the beginning of July. I was on a large Guide camp, and Adam came with me, so dad took Jordan. They played well and reached the semi final.

I hate having to tell you all our news in this way, I really wish we could all barge into yours and tell you everything that is going on to your face.
Love and miss you lots, forever.

The world may change from year to year,
And friends from day to day,
But never will the one I loved
From memory pass away.

Happy Birthday
Love and miss you lots
